Julius Elo: Kidnapped

In the workshop, we explore kidnapping fantasy through role play.

Participants will create short kidnapping scenarios in small groups, playing with unpredictability, surrender, and the dynamics of capture. Everything takes place within clearly negotiated consent frameworks.

Facilitator:

Julius Elo (they/them) is performance artist who creates performance concepts and participatory performances where the audience is set at the core of the piece in different  ways.

They is one of the founders of Reality Research Center, Wonderlust festival and Helsinki Shibari Collective. They is worked with BDSM for over 15 years in Helsinki and Berlin. 

Tati Yata: Melt to Presence

We’ll explore how touch can be used as a tool for grounding and calming the nervous system.

What do we need in order to feel safe? What do we need to give ourselves permission to surrender and melt into presence?

The workshop includes touch-based exercises in pairs and small groups.

We will also get to know the Wheel of Consent framework.

Facilitator:

Tati Yata is a Tantric Life Coach and hypnotherapist.

Tati has facilitated workshops and retreats on tantra, consent and authenticity in Finland, Tenerife, Sweden, Denmark and Georgia.

She is also a founder of Tantra Tenerife.

Important values for her are freedom of expression, body positivity, honesty, compassion and the diversity of human expression, sexual orientation and gender.

Julius Elo & Olga Spyropoulou:

“Hold my breath” – a hands-on workshop on breath play (only in English)

Facilitators:

Julius Elo & Olga Spyropoulou have been collaborating since 2019. Their collaborative projects explore intersections of performance and sexuality, and highlight the performativity of various kink practices.

Olga Spyropoulou (she/her) is a Helsinki-based artist who makes participatory performances to investigate the ethical questions that arise from coexisting freedoms and contested desires. Commitment, trust, and accountability are crucial elements in her performance practice.

Tati Yata: Playful Eros

We’ll awaken the body’s bubbling vitality and authentic expression by exploring what play and different kinds of encounters bring out in us.

We use touch exercises, eye contact practices, and free, creative movement of the body as our tools.

The workshop also introduces the Authentic Relating framework.
