Julius Elo: Kidnapped (only in Finnish)

Tati Yata: Melt to Presence
We’ll explore how touch can be used as a tool for grounding and calming the nervous system. What do we need in order to feel safe? What do we need to give ourselves permission to surrender and melt into presence?
The workshop includes touch-based exercises in pairs and small groups. We will also get to know the Wheel of Consent framework.

VII & Laura: Risky playgrounds – how to play safe
This workshop is all about health and safety in kinky context. We learn about the high risk zones in BDSM: how to recognize them and manage the health risks for safer play. A starting point for the workshop is the three main elements of health safety.
The workshop invites the participants to share their experiences and we shape the focus of the session together.
Facilitators:
The workshop is led by VII (they/them) and Laura (she/they). They are both seasoned kinksters. One of them has applicable healthcare education to boot.
Sunday 24.8 at 11 – 13.00
Julius Elo & Olga Spyropoulou:
“Hold my breath” – a hands-on workshop on breath play (only in English)
Breath is presence, trust, connection, control and surrender. In this workshop, Julius & Olga share practices of manipulating the flow of air through solo and partnered exercises.
Participants are invited to explore the fundamental, often unconscious, act of breathing, as a site of play.
Facilitators:
Julius Elo & Olga Spyropoulou have been collaborating since 2019. Their collaborative projects explore intersections of performance and sexuality, and highlight the performativity of various kink practices.
Olga Spyropoulou (she/her) is a Helsinki-based artist who makes participatory performances to investigate the ethical questions that arise from coexisting freedoms and contested desires. Commitment, trust, and accountability are crucial elements in her performance practice.
Tati Yata: Playful Eros
We’ll awaken the body’s bubbling vitality and authentic expression by exploring what play and different kinds of encounters bring out in us.
We use touch exercises, eye contact practices, and free, creative movement of the body as our tools.
The workshop also introduces the Authentic Relating framework.
Samee Haapa: Immersive Play
Sensory Play is play with senses, familiar from kink contexts. One of the central dimensions of immersive theatre is multisensoriality. In this workshop the possibilities of sensory play will be expanded with the help of immersive theatre.
We will play with all of your six senses, senses accessible only (or so they say) for animals and imaginary senses.

PERFORMANCE
Saturday 23.8 at 18.00 and 18.30
Emmi Kärnä feat. Rio: Play Me
Where does agency reside— in our fingers, on our lips, in our words? ‘Play me’ is a game performance that tests agency through dollification and smut storytelling, where the audience decides the direction of the game but may not have complete control over it.
What ultimately sparks arousal: the audience’s choice, the narrator’s voice, or the character’s vice?
The artists:
Emmi Kärnä (she/her) is a game and experience designer, who has spend over a decade creating games and experiences for adults. Emmi’s design craft is inspired by mysteries, openness to interpretation, and removing obstacles from participation.
Rio (she/they) has over 15 years of experience with participatory experiences, which to increasing extent are embedded in sex positive contexts.
